Description
The 2000 “The Obsidian” is a rare and historically significant bottle from Obsidian Vineyard. This vintage marks a turning point for the estate: it was the final year they produced only a single flagship red before introducing their second label, “Weeping Sands,” in 2001.
The Blend: In 2000, this was a traditional “Right Bank” influenced blend, dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with smaller portions of Cabernet Franc and Malbec.
Market Value: Finding a 2000 vintage today is difficult.
