Making common sense a little more common.

Jayden Klinac didn’t set out to change the world. He just wanted a bottle of water he could feel good about. It started with a moment of friction at a gas station. It was hot. He was thirsty. The only options on offer came packaged in plastic, glass, or aluminium.

Glass is great, but heavy — which burdens its carbon footprint. Aluminium is light, but its cans are lined with oil-based plastic to stop the liquid from corroding the metal. Plastic? Using a material that lasts 500 years for a drink that lasts five minutes? Doesn’t make much sense. Every option came with an environmental compromise. That felt wrong for something as simple as water.

Why was it like this? And more importantly — does it have to be? Turns out, it didn’t have to be. You just had to design and create the alternative. This became the blueprint for Anew — a plant-based water bottle, designed with a circular mindset.

That was 2015. Today, Anew is here to bring the common sense option back into focus — and make it easy to make small, better choices every day.
