Perfumed red fruits, supple and elegant. Fine tannin, poise.   The fruit for this wine was grown at the original Black Estate vineyard which is also home to our restaurant.  From 30 year old ungrafted vines and a small portion of the 13 year old top block growing on a slope of calcareous clay soils.
