Description
This is a great opportunity to get a classic example of Lussac Saint-Emilion wine ready to drink but also with huge cellaring potential. This is very fruity on the nose and initially on the palate – unsurprising as it is composed of 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Cabernet Franc. Its deep purple colour with an elegant and spicy nose with aromas of cinnamon, pepper, liquorice, and red fruits like strawberry and raspberry.
Maturing: 60% aged in tanks while 18 month with regular ranking and 20% in 2-3 year old barrels
ABV: 14%Alc
This estate, north of Saint-Émilion, has produced a richly textured wine. Its black fruits and balance of acidity and tannins are promising. It has a rich potential. Drink from 2025. — Roger Voss
