A structured and rich wine with exotic aromas.

The Terroir: the high terrace of Orbieu in Lézignan-Corbières

Lying 35 meters above the Orbieu River, the high terrace is essentially made up of pebbles left by floods during the great ice ages. In summer, the soils suffer from drought because at a depth of 70 cm, they have a very compact horizon that prevents any penetration (water, roots, or plow). Only indigenous grape varieties are able to adapt to these extreme conditions.

The tasting

A straw-yellow color with green highlights. A nose of white flowers and honey, with notes of fresh wood. A structured, round, and elegant palate, with plenty of fat. Serving temperature 12 to 14°C, cellaring 7 years. Enjoy with cheese, foie gras, fish, and poultry in sauce.
