Domaine des Pothiers are producers of Gamay Noir in the Cote Roannaise, in the north of the Loire. They work with ‘Saint Romain’ a unique clone of Gamay Noir. The wines are very Burgundian with more savouriness than Beaujolais (especially at this price). Natural. “La Colline en Flamme” translates to “the hills are burning”.
