Ichiban Shibori (Kurosama) is easy to drink and enjoys a rich flavor.
Using special manufacturing technology, we are able to bring out the clear flavor of the barley without any unpleasant taste, even in dark beer.
Kirin’s unique beer manufacturing method, “Ichiban Shibori Method,” uses only the first strained wort that flows through the wort filtration process. Ichiban Shibori, which is made with only Ichiban Shibori wort without using any second-squeezed wort, has a clean, elegant taste with little bitterness, as it squeezes only the delicious parts of the barley.
Based on the Ichiban Shibori method, we have newly adopted low-temperature wort filtration similar to “Ichiban Shibori”. Furthermore, by devising a malt blend, we have achieved an easy-to-drink taste that has a rich umami flavor but no unpleasant tastes.
