• FRAGRANCE Among the aromas of sour cherry syrup, licorice, plum jam and tea leaves, notes of cinchona and peat emerge.
• FLAVOUR On the palate it shows great vitality, with a lively yet velvety tannin. Despite its power, the sip, smooth and round, has the agility of an athlete: vigorous and snappy. The taste is harmonious and well-calibrated by alcoholic warmth, with a long and tasty persistence.
• AGING Aged for 16 months partly in 25 hl oak barrels and partly in barriques and tonneaux, both new and second passage. Final rest in 25 hl oak barrels and one year in bottle before being released for sale.
