Les Jamelles Merlot

DESCRIPTION

Deep, bruised-red with a black core, good transparency, lighter on the rim. The nose is lifting and softly full, penetrating aromas of red cherries, strawberries melded with liquorice and vanilla. Medium-bodied, bright and juicy aromas of strawberries, cherries entwined with vanilla and red liquorice linger to a moderately long finish. Balanced, lively acidity flows with a light grip of tannin extraction, unfolding spices on the linger. This is a juicy red-fruited Merlot possesses vanilla and liquorice spices with a soft tannin grip. Match with pork roast and beef fillet over the next 2-3 years.
