We take our silver botanical rum and put it away to rest in ex Bourbon barrels for a few months to coax a little magic from the wood. Some of the lighter, more ethereal aromas take a back seat as the spirit absorbs vanilla and caramel flavours from the toasted American Oak as well as tannin to give body and structure.
Once the whole has become integrated and smooth, we bottle to present a deep, bold spirit that stands up to drinking on its own or as an intriguing cocktail element.
