Ironclad is named in honour of the 19th Century warships characterised by the iron armour bolted onto their wooden hulls, much as iron courses through the veins of our warm clay hillside vineyards.

The 2015 Ironclad is a robust red blend with dark fruits and savoury notes, intensely concentrated but with a firm tannin grip and good fresh acidity. The Ironclad ages extremely well and with age it will develop umami characters characteristic of meats and broths.
