Description

The elegant Riserva di Montefalco Rosso Doc is composed of a blend of 75% Sangiovese, 20% Sagrantino and 5% Cabernet Franc, entirely hand-picked and selected.

After a long maceration it is assembled in French oak barrels for 24 months and a subsequent 6 months in steel.

Deep, intense and inscrutable ruby red, it presents a rich and complex bouquet that opens with ripe red and black berries and continues with tertiary aromas of cinnamon and chocolate.

On the palate it is full and elegant, full-bodied, viscous and with great structure, balanced by a velvety tannin.

Ideal pairing with red meats and roasts, but also cured meats and mature cheeses.

Aging potential: 15-20 years

Serving temperature: 16-18 °C
