Pisco Mistral Especial is a premium Chilean pisco, aged in oak barrels to give it a rich colour and aroma. It is less sweet than other varieties, and is instead aged for longer to develop the full, smooth flavour.
Pisco Mistral
Pisco is a South American grape distillate, related to brandies, cognacs and grappa. A major export for both Chile and Peru, it has a long and vibrant history, and is a celebrated national drink. While many connoisseurs will say it should only ever be served straight (even without ice), it is quickly making its way into many top bars as a base for cocktails like the Pisco Sour, or even as a variation on classics like the margarita.
