SALENTO IGP FIANO 

Fiano is a grape variety planted mostly in the Campania region, but it is also found in other regions like Puglia. What makes this particular wine very unique is the presence of a small percentage of Fiano Minutolo, a semi-aromatic grape which is original from Puglia.

Zin Fiano is a lively, zesty and refreshing wine produced from 40 year old vines. Herbal and orchard fruit aromas with lots of citrus fruit especially lime. Complex with mineral notes, great balance and a fresh finish.

Zin in the Apulian dialect is sea urchin.

Tasting notes

The colour is bright straw yellow. There’s intensity on the nose in aromas of peach, melon, herbs and pine, which translatea to the ripe, medium-bodied palate. Warm and soft in the mouth, zesty acidity on the palate accompanied by freshness. Pleasant floral note that persists on the finish.

Food pairing

Tagliatelle with asparagus and eggs, butter and lemon plaice fillets.
