The aim with our James blend is to create an elegant and complex example of Martinborough’s classic red wine that looks towards Burgundy but acknowledges our own special place in Martinborough’s Te Muna Valley. In a barrel by barrel selection process we unite unique wines from our best vineyard and ferment parcels to create James PInot Noir.
Deep, complex and evolving nose of fruits of the forest and mixed spice. Rich, powerful and full bodied palate with tannins finely integrated into a mouth filling core. The wine finishes elegantly with excellent intensity of flavour.
