Domaine Montrose Prestige Rose
Since 1701, in the South of France, our family has been promoting the wines of Domaine Montrose.
Prestige is a vintage of excellence from our finest terroirs.
APPELLATION: IGP Côtes de Thongue
TERROIR: Old Grenache and Rolle grown on Villafranchian gravel terraces, composed of rolled pebbles with a predominantly clay-siliceous content.
GRAPE VARIETIES: 85% Grenache, 15% Rolle
VINIFICATION: The Grenache and Rolle grape varieties are destemmed and blended directly in vats. Skin maceration is performed to reveal all the subtle aromas of the grapes. Only the "saignée" juice is collected, then fermented at moderate temperatures to preserve the expression of the terroir. After fermentation, the wine is aged on fine lees for greater complexity, with a small portion vinified and aged in barrels to add richness and depth.
TASTING NOTES: A seductive pale pink color. The nose reveals beautiful complexity with aromas of ripe citrus, mandarin, and a touch of spice. On the palate, remarkable elegance and finesse. A wine to be enjoyed young to appreciate all its freshness.
SERVING: Serve chilled. Ideal with grilled red mullet, scallops, or simply as an aperitif.
