The iconic Cuba Libre dates all the way back to the mid-19 th century when Cubans we’re fighting to “Free Cuba” for independence from Spain. After Spain surrendered, American businesses made their way into Cuba, bringing with them the then-new Coca-Cola. They sipped and sang “¡Por Cuba Libre!” in celebration of Cuba’s new freedom.

Our new Alba Cuba Libre is no different! It gives a nod to this simple and iconic cocktail, but with our own twist using Mexican White Rum. Our rum is sourced from a boutique distillery in Córdoba, Veracruz, and has soft floral aromas making it the perfect base for a Cuba Libre. To that nectar, we add natural cola, heaps of real lime juice and muscovado for that soft caramelized flavour.
