Albert Bichot Chablis Domaine Long Depaquit

750 ml

Description

Albert-Bichot, founded in 1831 in Beaune, is a family independent wine house run by the 6th generation. Our domaines extend on more than 245 acres in the most prestigious appellations all along Burgundy: Chablis, Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, Côte Chalonnaise and Beaujolais. Each domaine is in the hands of a dedicated viticulture and vinification team who tailors wines with a perfect sense of terroir.

In northern Burgundy, not far from Auxerre, the Chablis appellation covers an approximately 15km radius around the village of the same name. It was the monks of the Cistercian abbey of Pontigny who began growing vines in the region. Chablis is located at the south-eastern extremity of the Paris Basin. The grapes used to craft this Chablis at the Domaine Long-Depaquit estate come from a mosaic of terroirs, which lends remarkable complexity to the wine.

Tasting Notes:

Very pure nose that is typical of Chablis (white flowers, flint) opening up to a palate that boasts an elegant combination of almond notes and lovely vivacity.

Food Pairing: Keep it classis with this Chablis! Enjoy its freshness as an aperitif or, with a meal, pair it with seafood or fish in order to appreciate its richness.
