Amoise Gamay Noir

New to the fold is the Amoise Gamay Noir. From two different clones of Gamay this year from the exceptional Two Terraces vineyard in the Mangatahi Terraces. Ian & Linda Quinn are conscientious and detail oriented growers, and the quality of their grapes are exceptional. Drawing inspiration from Amy's time working in Beaujolais, she's made this as a blend as the clones were picked almost 2 weeks apart. The first component is 100% carbonic maceration for 2 weeks and blended with a semi-carbonic portion. The final wine is light and soft on the palate. Definitely one to be served lightly chilled!
