Pichon-Lalande neighbors first-growth powerhouse, Château Latour at the southern end of the Pauillac appellation. The Estates share something of a similar terroir and climate, which partly helps to explain the quality of the wine at Comtesse de Lalande
Colour Notes –Lush ruby red.
Aroma Notes – Aromatic nose with wild blackberry, strawberries, and lilies and violets.
Palate Notes – Wild cassis, wild blackberry, and small notes of small wild fruits associated with touches of raspberry, cherry, black tea, camphor as well as hints of cocoa, caramelization, lily, zan, a subtle hint of sugared mild tobacco and toasted oak.
