A 4th Classified Growth of Saint Julien, Château Talbot is one of the iconic references of Haut-Médoc. Acquired by Désiré Cordier in 1918, Château Talbot is today managed by Nancy Bignon-Cordier and her husband, Jean-Paul Bignon.
For many, Talbot embodies the ideal Saint Julien, a generous bouquet, extremely stable and dependable during aging.
Colour Notes: Ruby red colour with garnet hues.
Aroma Notes: The nose is rich and exciting with aromas of raspberries and red currants, which blend with blackberries and blueberries, turning then to more spicy notes and vanilla.
Palate Notes: It’s a racy wine, with complex marks of Havana tobacco and licorice, classically delicious without ever the slightest hint of austerity.
