A pure, elegant, yet powerful expression of cool climate Syrah. Rich plum and berry fruit is lifted by fragrant warm spice notes, cracked pepper and violet aromas. The palate is full bodied and supple with a long finish.

Tasting Notes : The wine is built around a core of rich plum and dark berry fruit, carrying lifted aromatic notes of violets, cardamom, mulling spices, and black pepper, along with savoury sage like herbal undertones. Subtle tones of roasted coffee bean / cacao nib and charcuterie bring further depth and complexity. The palate is fine and long with a silky tannin structure and good mid palate flesh giving a very even, long and seamless mouthfeel.While approachable now, this wine will age positively for 15 plus years if cellared well.
