Description

Château Clinet is a wine producer located in Pomerol, Bordeaux, on the Right Bank of the Gironde. The vineyards are planted predominantly to Merlot, alongside small amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon.

Colour Notes: Deep garnet.

Aroma Notes: The nose opens with scents of forest fruits, blackberries, liquorice and bergamot.

Palate Notes: On the palate the fruit remains fresh and vibrant. Notes of oriental spices, plum and brown sugar bring intensity to the finish. Its expression is confirmed on the palate by its silky texture and its greedy flavours of cherries, blackcurrants and blueberries. Its intensity continues with notes of charcoal, liquorice and wild vanilla. Its aromatic power makes it an ideal wine to drink over the next 15 years.
