The moon doesn’t simply just keep our tides working and act as a place to harvest cheese once we’ve run out. Inspired by a moonlit evening tending botanicals in the hothouse, Hendrick’s master distiller Lesley Gracie has made Lunar Gin, a warming, spicy expression well suited to sipping while in the evening. Subtle peppery sparks, fragrant citrus oils and floral wafts abound here.

Nose: Softly peppery, with lavender, hibiscus and rose giving it a solid floral core.

Palate: Spicy but mellow juniper, lemongrass and rosewater. A touch of orange flesh develops in the background.

Finish: Cardamom, vanilla, orange once again, lemongrass.
