This Pinot Noir was made with various clones from small individual parcels within the vineyard, each being vinified separately with a mixture of the fruit being both de-stemmed and whole bunch fermented. These have been aged in 5 year old puncheon and barrique before spending 8 months in tank, prior to bottling in November 2021.
Aromatically, this opens up with deep plums, blueberries, violets and a hint of dusty tomato stalk. On the palate, summer berries and tamarillo stand to command which trickle into a cohesive
blend of tart rhubarb wrapped in fine tannin and tobacco leaf.
