This wine style was already appreciated in the 16th century. It was a favourite on the French King’s table. It was then known under the name of ‘vin de Mauves’ a local village that has its name from the colour ‘mauve’, purple in French.

Aroma Notes: Stunning nose of wild flowers and wild herbs with touches of graphite and licorice.
Palate Notes: A sleek and structured Syrah that is medium to full-bodied.This wine is fruity and juicy with hints of espresso and dark chocolate.
