Description
This is an old-school, rustic Lambrusco. A blend of Lambrusco Maestri and Lambrusco Grasparossa, after ageing the wine is transferred to the bottle with a little must for the second fermentation. This Lambrusco is packed full of dark, sappy fruit. Bone dry, almost bloody and full of earthy notes with vibrant freshness and a delicate tannin.

The Quarticello farm is located in Val d’Enza, Reggio Emilia, on the bank of the river of the same name that divides the provinces of Reggio Emilia and Parma, at the foot of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. The production focuses on native vines such as Lambrusco Maestri, Lambrusco Salamino, Lambrusco Grasparossa, Malbo Gentile and Malvasia di Candia.
