Santa Ana Malbec Mendoza Reserve

Aged in French and American oak for 9 months. Opaque dark red black tinged colour with a bright purple-red hue. Nosing reveals freshly crushed dark cherry, plum and blueberry aromas followed by some inky earth and spicy herb notes. Medium-bodied the youthful palate is filled with juicy crushed berry flavours that are laced with herbs over some inky earth characters and spicy vanillin cedar. Fine-grained, slightly dryish tannins. Aftertaste of spicy ripe dark cherries, infusions of dried herbs and earthy vanillin cedar characters.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
