Description

Château La Chapelle Maillard is located on the hillsides of the Dordogne on the tip of the Saint Emilion appellation. Merlot dominant and aged in seasoned oak for 12 months, this is a very accessible Bordeaux with rounded mouthfeel and plenty of dark plum characters. Organically farmed and produced with minimal intervention in the winery, this is rewarding, thoroughly modern wine that is enjoyable now but has the ability to further develop over the coming 5 – 8 years.
