Description

Following in his fathers’ footsteps, Louis Mitjaville turned to this lesser-known appellation of Castillon and repeated the efforts of Francois by creating elegance and richness with the L’Aurage.

Grapes: Merlot, Cabernet Franc

Terroir: Clay limestone soil.

Grape Growing: Grapes grown sustainably. Treatment on the vine only when required.

Winemaking: The grapes are harvested by hand and are fermented in tank. Age in oak barrel especially made for them by Radoux according to the Mitjaville signature.
