Andrew McPherson grew up in the world of wine and went on to work for some top names in Australia before settling down to craft really characterful, great value wines like this one, under his own name. It’s a lavishly big, rich Cabernet blend filled with delicious spice and luscious black fruit on a gently toasted oak finish. Delicious!

55% Ruby cabernet, 35% cabernet, 10% merlot.
Fruit was harvested from their old vines in our exceptional riverside vineyards. The vineyard is situated on the banks of the Murray River, and is of sandy soils, with excellent draining providing ideal conditions for growing high quality fruit. Separate parcels of the wine spent between 6 and 12 months in French oak barriques, after which the final blending of select parcels took place.
A colourful character, Andrew McPherson has spent his working life making wine and has made an incredible contribution to the Australian Wine Industry. Andrew loves a great Shiraz and a great Sunday lunch, combining the two with family and friends on most weekends.
