Troppo is our answer to the agricultural excess of the wine industry, taking unsecured fruit and turning it into approachable and affordable styles of wine, taking the minimal intervention winemaking approach of Unico Zelo and applying it to more conventional grape varieties from the various wine regions of South Australia.

We've got a major soft spot for classic Clare Valley Reds - they just ooze old-school charm. This Cabernet Franc straddles the line of being exuberant young drinking alongside classic and varietally true - it's like an Alfa Romeo in vinous form. Classic blackberry and ripe cherry fruit, a whisper of that green peppercorn Cab Franc thing, and the inescapable Clare Valley eucalypt character. A great deal of fun.
